Places to See Before You Die

October 30th, 2012

If you get Travel or Discovery through satellitetv-hq.com, then you’ve probably heard it all when it comes to travel destinations or places to see before you die. However, I’m willing to wager that there might be a few they missed which is why I have decided to post of list of (more) places to see before you die.

They are listed below, not in any particular order:

Bagan, Myanmar
While the sacred geography is something truly spectacular, catching a view of it all when the sun sets takes the experience to a whole new level. The monuments that dot the foggy hills and plains almost seem to reach up to the heavens as the sun comes down to greet them – coating everything in absolute brilliance. Like God himself painted it.

Angel Falls, Venezuela
This is the world’s highest waterfall with a height of 979 meters – that’s 3,212 feet for non-Europeans who happen to be reading this. Though reaching these falls can be a little obtuse, the sheer enormity of this natural wonder is certainly worth it.

Petra, Jordan
A city literally carved into the very mountain, it was used by Arab settlers as a primary trade route. Even after all these years, it still stands.

Looking for an exotic getaway that won’t break the bank? Avoid pamphlets and travel agents – they’ll only lead you to the same crowded places every other tourist is going. Instead, find your own vacation spot with these tricks. Look for Beach Bungalows Hotels and resorts will consume your budget faster than almost anything else. If you really want to save money on your trip, Directv Anaheim, look for beach bungalows. They’re cheap ($10-20 a night, depending on the destination) and never far from major cities and tourist attractions.I was looking for more information and found it here. Know What You Want To Do Hike? Swim? Sightsee? Before you step on a plane, know what you’re planning to do when you step off. Then you can search with the activity and/or location (“cheap places to surf in the Caribbean”) and find the perfect spot just for you. Check Exchange Rates What’s affordable now may not be affordable tomorrow. Before you get your heart set on a specific destination, make sure they aren’t going through a recession or suffering from dismal exchange rates. You want your currency to be valuable.
